My family’s experience with Bonham nursing home has been amazing. Both of my parents were there and I would recommend Bonham to anyone and I have. The care and love that they received while there was second to none. There was never any worry of the care that they were receiving, if anything went on that I needed to know I always received a call. When my father passed the funeral home director told me that he never saw anything like it as they were taking him out. My father was a veteran and they placed a flag on my dad. Nurses , staff and residents were at the doors saluting my father. When my mother passed 3 nurses were with her so she would not be alone as we could not get there in time. I am so thankful for that. I cant thank them enough for the love, respect and care that they both received. Bonham is the best in my book!!
Prior to coming to Bonham’s, my mother was in another facility. While there, she had no freedom. There were alarms on her chair, wheelchair, bed, etc. Her appetite was poor; she had a tremendous weight loss. We chose to move her from that facility to Bonham’s. Our hope was that she would experience a “normal living” environment. Thankfully, she did! The alarms were gone, her appetite improved greatly, and the care she received was and continues to be exceptional. The acitivty department is vital to the life of the residents. From daily fun and games to prayer at the bedside, the care for the elderly is priceless. As a family of faith, the prayer aspect is so meaningful, I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to place their loved one.
Everyone is so nice. I truly enjoy the food here. I think the staff and residents are all nice; I love them all. I love all the activities here at Bonham’s, we all have so much fun. My room has a beautiful window view of the birds and nature. I love to see the snow fall and the sunshine. My family is able to visit me and I am so thankful for that. Everything here is wonderful!
As a resident here at Bonham’s, I truly enjoy the variety of activities available to us. I am very satisfied with all the staff and the nursing care is wonderful. The food is very good; they try to listen to our suggestions on different meals ideas. I am also thankful for the freedom to worship and be a part of a faith community. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone.
